Ubuntu Deb appears to be broken

Ubuntu Deb appears to be broken

I get a broken pipe error while it is attempting to place a sound file. I am running Ubuntu Hardy Heron x686. I was able to compile the source fine. I will attempt to make a deb and see if it works any better, though I have had very limited luck making my own deb packages in the past.

I removed the package

I removed the package containing the conflicting file (pidgin-data) and it installed fine.

But there is a problem with the ubuntu package. The spell checker
does not work.

My fault

The computer I used to compile the ubuntu package didn't have gtkspell installed. Sorry, I won't make that mistake the next time.

Can you rebuild with spellcheck support at this time? :-)

I have rebuilt with spell check but I used the I guess Guess I can figure out how to make a deb
