No unicode support?

No unicode support?

I tried pasting in Japanese text and it just appears as a bunch of block characters. I can paste Japanese text in almost every other application I have here...

Any ideas?

Any word on unicode guys? It works in Pidgin, just not FunPidgin.

No idea... were you pasting the same Japanese text into the same versions of Pidgin and Funpidgin? Were they installed on the same system with the same fonts? If you wouldn't mind, can you show me the text that pastes into Pidgin but not Funpidgin? I can't seem to find unicode text which beahves this way.
