Xfire Chat Support?

Xfire Chat Support?

I haven't used pidgin for anything more than a MSN alternative on a flashdrive but I think that perhaps if there was a way for this to connect to the Xfire network, even if it didn't work ingame, then I could be convinced to switch over to Funpidgin. ^_^

Xfire in Linux

I've been using Gfire and it's quite stable, although the support for showing what game you're playing is really horrid and poorly documented.

However, if you're using Wine to run your games, I've found the Xfire client runs well these days, and works for game stats. So I'm using Xfire under Wine at home, and Gfire only to chat while at work.

Including Gfire would be a good idea for Carrier, but the game stats stuff needs some work first; either a gui for setting it up, or some better documentation. I'd write the latter myself, but frankly I don't understand the damn thing well enough to try; I've never gotten it to work.
